ITSA, formerly Italianissimo, was started in 2002 by one of the adored staff at UMich: Guglielmo Audiberti. The Romance Languages and Literatures (RLL) Department saw the need for a place where students could enhance their Italian experience and augment their language learning. In 2013, the club was passed on to the students for their autonomy. ITSA has been going strong for nearly two decades and has continued to grow and spread the love for Italian language and culture.
